Background & Key Issues

FiveGT, which provides solutions for face-recognition security, sought redirection in regards to their company strategy and the future of security and biometrics. Seeking innovation in this technology field, they sound guidance in product strategies, specifically in regards to their door-lock products. 

Approach & Solution 

First the scope was set to that of an access confirmation device and the corresponding variables were researched via industry research as well as analysis of users and competing products. 
Concept sketches were created with features that could continue to evolve as the industry progressed.  We worked in collaboration with experts as well as held ideation workshops with university students/ semi-experts in each field. Finally, we visualized the concept of a "Home Guardian," adding an analysis of the major modeling elements and functions. ​
