Perception Design Consultant Certificate (PDCC), the first design industry to certify a qualification system approved by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

On July 7, 2017, Perception's Design Consultant Certificate (PDCC) was certified by the Ministry of Employment and Labor: the first of its kind.

Since we have been conducting in-house training and preparing related systems to foster design consultants, Perception is now certified as a "qualification system," allowing us to provide training for industry officials and the general public.

Perception's PDCC credentials are given to professionals who understand design consulting processes and methodologies and have the ability to define, research, and solve design issues through creative planning. Those who have worked in design consulting or design planning for more than a year are eligible candidates. The subjects for qualification include "Understanding Design Consulting," "Understanding and Applying the 10 Phases of the Design Process," and "Basic Competency in Work."

The in-business qualification project is a system that is certified and supported by the Korea Industrial Resources Corporation under the commission of the Ministry of Employment and Labor for the purpose of enhancing and promoting the vocational ability of the workers in the industry. Perception was awarded a 17-year certification.

"We developed the PDCC to nurture consultants who provide the most appropriate methodologies and optimal output in solving various design issues," said Oh Ki-seok, head of Perception's Brand Research Institute. "We will do out best to upgrade the methodology and process of design so that companies' service philosophy can be maintained. We also strive to become a design consulting firm that represents Korea with a convergence of corporate strategies and marketing areas."
