Background & Key Issues

Huggies Magic Pants, produced by Yuhan Kimberly are underwear-type products for toddlers who still require the aid of a diaper. Every year, Yuhan Kimberly upgrades the function of their products and creates a new package design showcasing the features of the product. The recent design from 2014 was called "playsuit" and illustrated a diaper that perfectly fits the baby's body and is light weight as well, allowing the child to move around freely. As the product concept is renewed every year, the product needed a fresh iamge while still maintaining the Huggies classic image, for example, the signature red color.  

Approach & Solution 

The renewed design for this diaper product focused on communicating the renewed 2015 concept to the consumer. For the diaper graphic, we focused on a circus concept that combined images of fairy tales. The Huggies Polar Bear was also incorporated for continuity.​
